Once you understand the expected costs, here is how the event mechanics work:
5.1 Treasure of Bees
Each treasure contains 12 bees.
You consume Daisy to expel a bee and receive the reward attached to it.
Once a bee has been expelled:
- It is removed from the current Prize Pool
- It cannot be obtained again before the pool resets
- If you expel all 12 bees, you will have obtained every reward in the pool
This means every unsuccessful expel removes one of the remaining rewards from the pool.
5.2 Core Prize / First Prize
Before playing a treasure for Special Ant Awakening, you can select which awakening you want as your Core Prize, also called the First Prize.
If you do not manually select one, the game will use the default reward.
The First Prize has a displayed starting winning rate of 5%. This winning rate is confusing, as based on repeated player testing, the First Prize has only been observed on the 9th or 10th attempt.
Different treasures have separate progress, so progress in the Special Ant Awakening Prize Pool does not carry over to the Soldiers Reform Prize Pool.
5.3 Resetting the Prize Pool
Once you obtain the Core Prize, you can manually reset the Prize Pool.
Cost:
5,000 Diamonds
You cannot manually reset the Prize Pool until the Core Prize has been obtained.
If all 12 bees are expelled, the Prize Pool resets automatically.
Strategy:
Reset immediately after obtaining the Core Prize.
There is generally no reason to continue spending valuable Daisy on the remaining lower-tier rewards when you can reset and begin working toward another Core Prize.
The main exception would be if you specifically want the remaining rewards.
5.4 Surprise Rewards
Every time you expel a bee, you also have a chance to trigger a Surprise Reward.
Important:
- The first expel is guaranteed to trigger a Surprise Reward
- Additional expels have a chance to trigger more Surprise Rewards
- Surprise Rewards are sent directly to your inventory
- Surprise Reward progress/chances are independent between different Prize Pools
These rewards provide additional value on top of the normal bee rewards.
5.5 Special Ant Awakening Prize Pool
This Prize Pool focuses on Special Ant Awakenings.
You can select which available Awakening you want as your First Prize.
The pool shown allows up to 4 First Prizes during the event.
Obtaining one Special Ant Awakening is expected to require approximately:
216 Daisies → ~$155 USD
After obtaining your selected Awakening, reset the Prize Pool if you intend to pursue another one.
5.6 Soldiers Reform Prize Pool
This Prize Pool focuses on Soldier Reform rewards, including the Rare Reform Chest.
The pool shown allows up to 2 First Prizes during the event.
Based on repeated player testing, the Rare Reform Chest appears to be obtained on the 10th attempt, unless you get extremely lucky and get it on the 9th attempt.
Expected requirement:
155 Daisies → ~$105 USD
Because of this, players should not begin pursuing this reward unless they are prepared to complete the full spending requirement.
5.7 Bees Pack
This tab contains the event packs.
If your main goal is obtaining the First Prize, prioritize packs based on their Daisy per Dollar value.
The cheaper packs provide the best value and should generally be purchased before the larger packs.
5.8 Exchange Store
Daisies can also be spent directly in the Exchange Store.
Exchangeable rewards include:
- Older Special Ant Awakenings
- Awakening Protein
- Orange Insect Eggs
- Tertiary Eggs
- Mutation Chests
- Soldier Reform Chests
- Reform Growth Mediums
The game itself recommends using Daisy to expel bees first, then spending any remaining Daisy in the Exchange Store.
Important:
- Store purchase limits do not reset during the event
- Unused Daisy expires after the event
- Make sure to spend leftover Daisy before it becomes unusable
